Is there such thing as perfect timing?

(Ralu)

There are some truths that God made me see clearer tonight, and I’d like to share with everybody. I also need to remember this as often as possible, so it does me good to write them down.

The illustration in Matthew 9:20-22, the woman with the issue of blood, says:

20And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

21For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

22But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Interesting to notice that she TOLD HERSELF: Go for it! It wasn’t someone else to tell her go and touch Him. It wasn’t an exterior encouragement, but she knew and she encouraged herself to do it. This woman had Jesus in her agenda! She knew that if she ONLY touches Jesus garment, she will be made whole. She had the faith she needed, and she acted based on that faith, on the truth she knew.

The Bible says that God calls all people to repentance and new life in Christ. ALL PEOPLE. Jesus has ALL PEOPLE in His agenda, Jesus has YOU in His agenda. Now the question is: DO YOU HAVE HIM in your agenda? Do you put Jesus first in all you? Or you always need someone to remind you to do that?

You don’t need someone to tell you to go to church, you don’t need someone to tell you to praise God, you don’t need someone to tell you to search for God’s presence and to talk to Him in prayer. You have to tell yourself: If only I can touch Jesus, I shall be made whole!!

My encouragement to you and to myself is to put Jesus first in all we do. To never look for excuses. It’s easy to find excuses. Read Luke 9:57-62 and Luke 14:15-24. Jesus leaves no room for excuses, He doesn’t like that! Us, people, are GREAT at finding excuses. Even Moses, a man after God’s heart, found excuses when God told him to go speak what He will have him speak. And Moises said: who, me?? I have difficulties speaking. Why not send Aaron? He’s such a talented speaker. God doesn’t want excuses, He wants OBEDIENCE!

When you choose God, God chooses you! That’s why the Bible says “many are called but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14). You to respond to His calling NOW! Don’t let any excuse separate you from what God has prepared for you. We can’t use school, work or even family as an excuse to follow God wholeheartedly or to answer His call. And also, don’t wait to be made perfect and tell yourself that only after you’re perfect you can actually enter the ministry or calling that God wants you part of! The PERFECT TIMING IS NOW! Let God heal you as you walk and work with Him!

You and I will be held completely responsible for what we have done with our lives and His calling. Remember, many are called, but few are chosen. Respond to His calling, NOW!
